Keala’s Concept for Kids

“By lending as little as $25, you can help people around the world create opportunity for themselves and their communities.” – Kiva.org

Aloha Kiva Kids is one of the approved Kiva lending teams in which members pool their $25 to lend to entrepreneurs around the world.  The team wounded by Keala Raatior while attending the Chiefess Kapiolani Elementary School in Hilo, Hawaii

Kiva is a non-profit organization in San Francisco that connects global entrepreneurs with micro-lenders. Kiva’s crowdsourcing concept is simple: individuals lend $25 to global entrepreneurs via Kivaʻs platform. Once a loan is repaid, the lender can re-lend to other entrepreneurs from the list of pre-approved entrepreneurs. As Keala says in the video, “Itʻs like a cycle of life!”
