News Update: Nov 9, 2016 – Kiva U (initiative for students and educators) has awarded Aloha Kiva Kids a total $1,250 worth of credits for 50 new members. Funded by Citi bank, new members will be given a unique 16-digit code for a $25 credit to lend to a Kiva entrepreneur of their choice.

We invite parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins to sign up their kids to become global micro-lenders on Kiva.

How to Join our team on Kiva and Lend for FREE:

Step 1: Email Kealaʻs dad Vid Raatior (vid@raatior.com) requesting the unique 16-digit Kiva code to use when signing up. Once you have it, then go on to step #2.

Step 2: Register on Kiva (www.kiva.org/register). Youʻll have the option to join any team including Aloha Kiva Kids. Or you can register on Kiva via our team page (www.kiva.org/team/aloha_kiva_kids) by clicking the “Join Team” button & register on Kiva that way.

Step 3: Click on Lend, choose a Borrower (have your son/daughter make the decision on which borrower to lend to), and click “Lend $25.”

Step 4: Next to “Support Kiva’s Operations,” click Edit and bring the donation to $0.

Step 5: Enter the code in “Have a Kiva Card Code?,” click Continue & Pay!
